Assessments on edmodo.com

My students are engaged and excited when they have a test on edmodo.  You can choose multiple choice, true and false, short answer, and even a open ended response questions.  A nice benefit for the student is that they can see their grade immediately (if you choose that option).  For the teacher, it is graded, entered in the edmodo grade book, adjustable, and informative with statistics.  Here are just two of my students taking their test.

Facebook & Revolutionary War Americans

We have just completed a unit on the American Revolution.  To learn about these famous Americans that formed our nation, the students connected a concept of today's times and technology and used it to present their famous American.  So, what if Facebook was around during the time of the Revolution?

I am very fortunate to teach at a school that has implemented the 1:1 Computing program.  All my 4th graders have a laptop at their desk.  This allows them to research, communicate, and develop technology based projects in our classroom.  They are doing some amazing things!  Soon you will see it all here!
